Matt grew up racing bikes, and wrenching on them in various shops around the country. He moved from the lush forests of Western North Carolina to the Arkansas Valley in search of high country trails. With its year-round riding, and its potential to become a world class mountain bike destination, Buena Vista quickly became home. He loves adventures that don't go exactly to plan, and he knows the local trails like the back of his greasy hand. Whether you're looking for a beginner stroll in the park, or your next epic adventure, he's the one to ask. Also, he'll be the one fixing your bike so feel free to ask any techy questions to really bring out his nerdy side.

Lindsey is originally from Ohio, where she raced mountain bikes for Trek Ohio and Ohio University. She has lived in the valley for almost a decade and prefers spending the bulk of her time in the backcountry. She is an active member of Chaffee County Search and Rescue - North, and in addition to owning a bike shop, is head cheesemaker for the local goat dairy. Her herd of mammoth saddle donkeys is actually the inspiration behind the name of our shop. Look for her donkey, Mary Margaret,(reigning three-time World Champion and 2018 triple crown winner) in this year's burro races.
